An Opera for Children Mary Ann Bills, musical preparation Steven LaCosse, stage director SYNOPSIS Coming home after school, Hansel and Gretel should be doing their homework. Instead they decide to watch TV and play video games. When their mother comes home, she discovers that the children have not done their work. She sends them to the library, where she hopes they will learn how to study. On their way to the library, Hansel and Gretel get lost. Cold, lonely and hungry, they find a small corner and say their prayers and fall asleep. While asleep they learn about the importance of doing their homework. What will happen to Hansel and Gretel if they don't learn this important lesson? |
