Originally
a 1929 silent movie theatre, the Roger L. Stevens Center is a magnificently
restored neoclassical theatre located in downtown Winston-Salem,
NC. Re-opened in April 1983, the center is the primary performance
space for the North Carolina School of the Arts and home to the
Piedmont Opera Theatre and several other local and state arts organizations.
Featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a total of 1,380 seats
on two levels, the Stevens Center offers superb sightlines and exceptional
acoustics.
