1. Interested applicants are to submit a cover letter, resume, headshot, official transcripts from all college and graduate institutions attended and three letters of recommendation.  These application materials are to be initially be processed in the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute office.  Please do not send application materials to UNCSA Admissions Office. 

There is no fee or application to complete until the applicant is invited to formally apply to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Music graduate voice program.

The cover letter should indicate the program for which you are auditioning, the city in which you wish to audition (see below for cities and dates), as well as your career goals and what you would hope to accomplish in a graduate or post graduate program.

Materials are due no later than December 5, 2008 for the 2009 auditions.

*Transcripts must be sent directly from the Institution.

2. After a review of all materials submitted, the Institute will schedule auditions in the following cities:

Chicago, IL - February 13, 2009
New York, NY - February 15, 2009
Winston-Salem, NC - February 28 & March 1, 2009

3. Candidates will be informed of the Institute's decisions by April 1, 2009 and asked to formally apply for admission.
